My son has had so many hoops by all the practice that he gets. I think this is great for kids to have. Works anywhere. I bought one of these for my son years ago when he was little and I am so very happy that they're still being made! My son had his in his bedroom as we lived in an apartment building and had no room outdoors.

The ball was soft enough to not break or damage anything in his room, including the walls. One was purchased a while ago for my grandson and he is still playing it His is in the back yard,where he can invite the neighbor boy over to "shoot hoops" with him. It's soft so it won't hurt them if they happen to get hit in the head or face with it. I love the fact that it can be raised or lowered as they grow. It lasts so long that it can be not only passed down from one child to the next but could even be passed down from one generation to the next!

Yeah,it's that good! Hardy and sturdy with incredible durability. Good, old fashioned, Fisher Price durability at a fair price. Lasts muchbetter than the fakes out there. Small enough to be able to be stored away for winter and light enough to be toted back out in the spring!

My son got this basketball goal for christmas last year, he absolutely loves it still. He plays with it everyday still. For a 4 year old, finding a toy that he doesn't get tired of is hard.

The price was very reasonable and its durability is great. I would recomend percent!!! I bought this product for a 3 yr cousin, i had heard that he really loves to play with balls, shopping at Toys R US found this on sale even better. Well I heard he just loves it, he has an older brother so it was perfect also great exercise for them. I think it is much more fun and better for their health than one of those video games.

I bought one for my son 14 years ago and it lasted for a long time until I passed it down to another family member. I also bought one for my nephew last year and it is still going strong. As my little guy said, "WOAH"! The initial impression is a big one. It looks like a lot of fun and it seems really exciting for the little ones.

My little guy was very excited to get it out of the box. The box has a photo of two kids playing with it in a house, but in my opinion, that's a bit of a stretch. First, for safety, you should fill it with water not in my house or sand which makes it impossible to move. Also, it's a basketball hoop. It's bulky. You really need a lot of space -- even if it's for a little one.

The first big issue we came across is that it is a bit difficult to put together. The directions are great -- very self explanatory. However, it is quite hard to firmly put the upright posts in place. We had to get an extra piece of wood to push down on the posts to correctly seat them.

I was even sore the next day! I am not sure if it maybe was a defect with my particular set or if it is just that difficult so it is sturdy. One it was put together, it looks really cool. The color scheme blue, grey and green seems sporty and fun. It's actually a really cool mechanism. There are no wheels on this, so move it to the spot you would like it to stay before you fill up the bottom.

It is pretty smooth on the bottom, so you can drag it on grass on on turf maybe on decking , but I wouldn't recommend moving it on concrete. It will scrape the bottom and can damage the base. The ball that comes with it is a perfect size for little hands. It is substantial, but still won't damage anything if you use it in the house.

I know this is a bit nit-picky , but the ball is completely orange. I would have liked to have the black basketball stripes on the ball. My 2-and-a-half year-old son likes the Go-to-Pro basketball hoop even though he hasn't quite gotten the hang of actually making a basket, so it's going to take us a while to grow to pro. Because of this, when he is playing alone, he doesn't play with it for a long period of time. He may make a basket or two, or try and then move on.

He'll come back to it every so often. He plays with it more when his sister plays basketball with him. This model is definitely cooler then the other elementary school basketball hoops out there. I also feel it is more substantial -- more sturdy. This will be staying outside on the back porch with the ball in the cool little divot in the base. I followed the instructions for assembly and I had no issues I got it completely put together in no more than 9 minutes. I love the fact that I can adjust it for my small one and adjust it for my older one, so they can both get it customized to suit their needs. They have such a blast and it makes me happy mom!! It's sturdy and encourages physical activity. We had another brand basketball hoop that is smaller and my 3 year refuses to play with it and instead wants the "big kid" basketball hoop. As they get older I can't say for sure it will withstand a group of 10 year olds so I guess I'll know once they get there but for now it's more than perfect. The colors are vibrant although not my favorite colors but to the kids the colors have made no difference.

I have a one year old and I haven't really allowed him to play with it although he's curious because he sees the older kids playing. I can't wait until he can join in the fun.

We've had two other brands come thru our home and this is by far the best one. The base is sturdy and doesn't fall over often like others we have tried. This hoop adjusts and will last your child much longer than your standard child's hoop.

To be honest, it's even fun for the grownups! It was easy to set up and although it is a large toy it doesn't take up quite as much room as you would think. Highly recommended from this household!! We were very excited to use the Grow to Pro basketball hoop by Fisher Price. Both my 2 year old and 6 year old enjoyed playing with this toy!
