There are two network printers one is a shared printer on the network with an IP address and the other is a shared printer from another computer that will change their ports to Remote Printer Ports once a week and I have to remove them and re-add them.

The printer that is connected locally on one of the other desktops that is shared shows up as a virtual USB port on the Windows 8. The network printer with it's own IP address shows with the proper IP address when working properly. When they both go off-line their ports both show as Remote Printer Ports. For the printer that is physically connected to another desktop and shared it shows as USB for the port and the one with it's own IP on the network shows as Office Office Exchange Server.
